On October 27, we light the candles, stack the oysters on ice, and open the doors of Thibodeaux's Cajun Restaurant to Lafayette for the very first time.
This room on W Pont des Mouton Road has fed this city before — as The Original Patti, and before that as Romacelli. We're honored to add our family's name to that line.
What to expect opening night
The full menu goes live: dark-roux gumbo, crawfish étouffée, charbroiled oysters, and the seafood platter that has no business being that big. The bar is stocked, the stage is set for zydeco, and the bingo cards are printed.
